Embroidery Machine

During my University degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I decided to make an Embroidery Machine from an old sewing machine. I bought the linear actuators, stepper drivers, an Arduino Leonardo, and an embroidery frame. All other parts were recycled from other projects. There is a separate controller which is built from wood and any buttons / switching laying around (including a telephone dial). Within is a Raspberry Pi (for pattern storing), Arduino (for motor control) and stepper driver modules.

To this day, the machine is not finished. However is was able to produce what is seen in the images below:
